The "Passion for Angling" series first run in 1992 epitomizes all that is fine in our wonderful sport of Angling. 
Indeed, across the six episodes beginning with the beguiling "Childhood Dreams" (which resonates strongly within many of us) the total panoply of chappish adventures, differing techniques using both ancient and modern tackle, and the breadth of nature's beauty shown at its finest, holds the viewer spellbound. It is an Angling series capable of captivating the non-angler as well as the purist; it is without doubt an enchanting work.
